The Panasonic Lumix S9 is a compact & lightweight, stylish full-frame mirrorless camera kit in blue with 18-40mm lens that is perfect for content creators on the go. MP4 Lite
The Lumix S9 introduces a new recording format; MP4 Lite. Shooting Open Gate in 4:2:0 10 bit in 30p/25p, creators can capture high quality videos in the optimum format for smartphone, and easily resize aspect ratios to suit social media with the Lumix Lab app. With this new streamlined editing workflow, content creators can easily shoot and share while on the go.

Industry leading image stabilisation technology
With 5-axis Dual I.S.2: 6.5 stops/Body I.S.: 5 stops and Active I.S. compensate for camera shake when shooting while walking. With perspective distortion correction and High mode in the E-Stabilisation (Video) function, it is now possible to achieve even more stable footage when shooting on the move.

Time lapse video
The LUMIX S9 supports interval capture to create time lapse video in the camera body itself and is also capable of 4K 60p/50p. Exposure smoothing takes place during processing, resulting in beautiful time lapse videos with smooth exposure changes.

Great for shooting video on the move
The LUMIX S9 also makes it easy to shoot video on the move. Active I.S. determines the status of camera shake and optimizes correction ratios to compensate even for significant motion, while advanced E.I.S. suppresses perspective distortion that occurs during video shooting. So now you can capture beautiful images, even if you need to move quickly while the camera is rolling.

1840k-dot free-angle monitor
The LUMIX S9 features a free-angle monitor that can be rotated around 180 degrees to the left and right and 270 degrees up and down, enabling you to see the screen clearly at any angle, whether you are shooting mere inches from the ground or stretching up to capture a subject from up high. The monitor can be closed when not in use, reducing the risk of screen damage when carrying the camera around.

Phase Hybrid AF
With the LUMIX S9, you can focus quickly and precisely on your subjects thanks to the high processing power of the image sensor and engine, even in challenging scenarios such as pets and sports.

Ai-based recognition technology

AFC 30 fps burst shooting

Fully customizable LUT colour files can be loaded in-camera for creative shooting. There is a dedicated LUT button on the camera body for direct access to LUT settings. Added opacity control and grain effect to further enhance creativity. Up to 2 LUT files can be applied at the same time

96MP high resolution mode
In this mode, consecutive images are automatically shot while shifting the sensor using the Body Image Stabilizer (B.I.S.) mechanism. Then, the high-speed signal processing engine synthesizes the images into a 96-megapixel equivalent (12,000 x 8,000-pixel) file. This allows you to capture magnificent natural scenery and detailed works of art in ultra-high resolution without using a tripod.

Lumix Lab app
The new LUMIX Lab app enables creators to develop their own unique LUT colour files on their smartphone. This means you can effortlessly generate original and shareable stills and videos without the need of post-production editing on a computer. The speed of transferring data from camera to smartphone has also been improved with the new app.
