Vanguard Veo Metro B20L Backpack in Black

The Vanguard Veo Metro B20L is a lightweight 20 litre backpack that incorporates a lower camera compartment, a removable upper daypack section, a laptop compartment for up to a 14-inch laptop, and expandable side pockets for a travel style tripod.

Camera compartment
The camera compartment is 260mm wide, by 250mm tall, and between 135-150mm deep depending on the size of the laptop or paperwork that is packed. This allows you to carry a full frame camera with up to 3 lenses (up to 70-200mm f2.8), separated by slimline EVA dividers that are designed to maximise the space available while protecting your kit. These dividers can be adjusted to your preferred layout, or removed altogether to create an everyday backpack. Full access to the camera compartment is through the back for maximum security, with quick top access to your camera so you can be ready to shoot in seconds.

Daypack compartment
The upper daypack compartment allows you to carry everyday items to make the most of your day, or additional camera kit. It is 260mm wide, by 160mm tall, with a maximum depth of 160mm, but due to the shape of the bag this tapers off towards the top. This includes a compartment on the rear of the compartment for a power bank, with slots allowing you to take a cable to the device in your hand for power on the go. Access to the compartment is through the top of the bag, but it is also designed for fast access from the rear of the bag. This daypack compartment can also be removed, allowing you to set up the backpack for top access to your camera.

Laptop compartment
The laptop compartment is built into the rear panel and measures 245 x 350mm which allows it to carry up to a 14" laptop, and is well padded to keep both your laptop and camera kit safe. You can also access your laptop form the side. The rear panel also has additional storage pockets for up to an 11" tablet and other accessories like cables.

Storage pockets
The backpack includes multiple storage pockets. Expandable side pockets for a water bottle or a tripod. Sealed pockets on the inside of the top flap for SD cards and accessories, while the sealed pockets on the outside of the top flap and on the front of the backpack can be used for other items. An expandable pocket for a smartphone on the right hand shoulder strap and a camera connector strap on the left shoulder strap (camera clip not included). It also includes straps to fit to the front of the bag to carry additional items such as a jacket.
To protect your valuable kit as you explore, this bag has the tough, well padded body you would expect. There is also a hidden rear pocket underneath the trolley attachment strap on the rear of the bag for a passport, cash and other important documents, with a separate hidden Smart Tracker pocket for AirTags or Tile trackers so that you can easily locate your bag if it is misplaced.

Tough, lightweight and water resistant
To deliver years of use, this backpack is constructed with a lightweight, yet tough 300D polyester fabric that delivers a textured appearance and a tactile feel. The fabric is designed for heavy duty applications with excellent water resistance and UV protection, enabling it to retain its colour and structural integrity over the years. This performance is enhanced by a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) Coating on both sides of the fabric and highly water-resistant SBS zippers, ensuring your kit stays protected in the city and beyond, with a rain cover for the wettest days.

Compfortable, padded straps
For maximum comfort this backpack is designed to be lightweight, weighing in at just 1760g. The backpack is then supported by wide padded shoulder straps with an adjustable chest strap to prevent the straps slipping and cinch straps at the top of the shoulder straps to minimise movement. It also includes a padded waist strap that can be tucked back into the bag when not needed to save it flapping around and detracting from your trip. It also incorporates a High Resilience Foam padded back that contours to your body, with an integrated airflow system to stay cool as you travel.
