Description

With the 18-270mm lens, Tamron introduces the world’s largest focal length range in a DSLR lens -a 15x zoom range. Everything from striking wide angles to highly magnified distant details falls within the capabilities of this remarkable optic.

NB. This lens is designed for digital SLR cameras with APS-C sized sensors. Not for full frame 35mm sensors or film cameras (most DSLRs are compatible).

Ultrasonic Piezo Drive Focus
This lens employs an Ultrasonic Piezo Drive (PZD) AF motor for silent and precise focus – using standing wave ultrasound technology for the fastest and most accurate performance.

VC (Vibration Compensation)
The image stabiliser in this lens uses three lightweight moving coils which is a lighter weight option than previous moving magnet variants, so allowing the lens to be more compact and lighter.

1:3.8 Macro
Ideal for closeup shots having a minimum focusing distance of 49cm
