Description
The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm lens achieves stunning photographic performance throughout zoom ranges from the centre of the frame to the edge. An optimally arranged lens structure featuring one aspherical lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, and one UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lens produces detailed and beautifully textured high-resolution, high-contrast images. With a focal length of 200mm to 800 mm (35mm equiv.) the H-RSA100400 is ideally suited to capture a range of subjects such as wild birds and animals, as well as sporting events. Moreover, the separately sold 2.0x teleconverter enables 1600mm full life-size macro shooting for more impressive, detailed shots of flowers, animals, and other subjects.

Whether zooming in, shooting close-up or shooting on the move, this lens gives you the freedom to capture even challenging subjects. The 100-400m ultra-telephoto zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 200-800mm) captures faraway action like it’s right in front of you, while the compact, lightweight design provides optimal mobility. In addition, a zoom lock ring, the capability to switch from vertical to horizontal composition, and other features offer superb flexibility for everything from sports to nature photography.Superb close-up performance
With a closest focusing distance of 1.3m and maximum magnification of 0.5x, this lens is a powerful instrument for nature photography, allowing you to zoom in on small, sensitive subjects like birds and butterflies. The optimized configuration has 20 elements in 13 groups, including 1x ASPH/ED, 1x UED and 2x ED lenses to minimize aberrations and ensure superb resolution. -
