Snowdonia Photographic Break
NEW DATE ADDED 18th-20th March 2020During your three day residential break we’ll explore the scenery of the Peak District, we will visit some of the most iconic photographic locations the Peaks has to offer ensuring you capture stunning images. With the guidance of an on-hand Academy tutor, this experience offers the enthusiastic photographer a fantastic opportunity to capture sunrise and sunset images set in a truly astonishing location.
Peak District National Park has an abundance of photographic opportunities. With our help, this photographic break will give you the knowledge and knowhow to create and capture amazing landscape images at almost every angle.
This photographic break mainly revolves around practical application, however day one will begin with a brief introduction and theory session in order to successfully plan the next few days. The Academy tutor will guide you through which settings to consider and how to achieve the very best composition. After a brief practice shoot, we will then make our way to the first sunset location - The Iron Age hillfort Mam Tor.
Day Two will begin with sunrise at the famous Winnats Pass. We'll then continue photographing throughout the day at Derwent Valley. This was the practice site for the famous Damnbuster’s during World War 2. Taking in the dam walls and woodland where we'll finish the day with another sunset at a fantastic location.Day Three
Day Three will start with sunrise at Ladybower reservoir, followed by a photographic walk exploring the famous milestones of the local area.
