1st of October - Join Jessops Academy and OM-Systems on an exclusive Wildlife Experience.

Walk on the wild side and enter the animal enclosures on this up-close and personal event.
Pick up some new skills, capture stunning shots of the animals while we share their enclosures with them and
Test all the latest and greatest OM Kit & lenses!
Entry to the West Country Wildlife Centre for the day is included allowing you access to some of the greatest British Wildlife in a truly inspiring encounter and natural setting.

On The Day

The day will be led by Pete our Academy & Events Manager and OM-Systems product engagement specialist Richard Ryder-Campbell.
OM will provide the latest range of lenses and cameras for users to test, try and borrow for the sessions.

We start the day with a trainer led briefing which includes photographic principles, controls, and composition.
Here you will have a chance to look at the latest OM kit and 'gear up' with new toys to play with throughout the session.
From here we move on to visit the outdoor enclosures where attendees have the opportunity to photograph the various creatures, many of who will get closer than you might think to enhance your experience futher.

AM session Agenda:(Timings are approximate)
10:00 - Arrival, Welcome, Introductions, Photographic briefing, OM Kit hand out
11:00 - Outdoor animal encounters (final animal list will be available on the day, but could include badgers, foxes, scottish wildcat, polecat, field mice, owls & Lynx)
13:00 - Lunch break

14:00 - Outdoor animal encounters (final animal list will be available on the day, but could include badgers, foxes, scottish wildcat, polecat, field mice, owls & Lynx)
15:30 - Kit return and de-brief (deals to be had for all attendees)
16:00 - Session ends

Our expert tutor and OM expert will be on hand throughout to support and guide you through all your camera controls and settings relevant for the day.

You're more than welcome to bring along your existing OM kit or try an entire new system.
Please ensure you bring a compatible High-Speed SD card for use in the cameras on the day.


*One entry to the WCWPC is included per booking, additional non-photographic and accompanying guests can be arranged, please contact [email protected] for information & cost. Non-photogrpahic and accompanying guests will not be permitted to join attendees in the enclosures with the animals.
