This three day residential break explores the stunning coastline of Cornwall. The ancient county of Cornwall is bursting with photographic opportunities. With the guidance of an on hand Academy tutor, this experience offers the enthusiastic photographer a fantastic opportunity to capture sunrise and sunset images set against the stunning cliffs, rock formations and tin mines this beautiful county has to offer.
On The Day
With our help, this photographic break will give you the knowledge and knowhow to create and capture amazing landscape images at almost every angle.
This experience mainly revolves around practical application, however day one will begin with a brief introduction and theory session in order to successfully plan the next few days.
The Academy tutor will guide you through which settings to consider and how to achieve the very best composition. Transport to and from our locations will be fully provided.
Day One- After a brief practice shoot around Falmouth Harbour, we will then make our way to the first sunset location- the iconic Botallack Mines
Day Two- Will begin with sunrise at the famous Lizard Point. We will then continue photographing throughout the day at some of the area's most stunning coves and beaches. We will finish the day with another sunset at a fantastic location, Godrevey Lighthouse.
Day Three- Will start with sunrise at another iconic location, St Michael's Mount. Followed by a photographic walk of Mevagissey.
Who will be there on this experience?
A member of our award winning Academy Training Team will be on hand at all times to give advice and guidance on photographic equipment and knowledge. All of our trainers are experienced photographers and have a broad knowledge of all camera manufacturers and types, to ensure that you're able to make the most of each day.
A previous knowledge of exposure- aperture, shutter speed and ISO is advisable for this experience. However, our expert academy tutor will be on hand to help with any settings you are feeling less confident about to ensure you get the results you want./p>
Breakfast and lunch are provided. Evening meals are not included in the price. There is an extra charge at the hotel for evening meals, however you are also free to make your own arrangements in the evening should you wish to./p>
Good general fitness is required as there are a few locations that require a short walk
