TERMS & CONDITIONS:

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the “Leave a Review Giveaway” for March (the “Giveaway”).

 

The Promoter of the Giveaway is Jessops Europe Limited (“Jessops”) a company registered in England & Wales with company number 08384909. Customers who have purchased a product from Jessops via the Jessops website (www.Jessops.com) (the “Website”) between 1 November 2021 and 28 February 2022 shall receive an email from Jessops asking the customer to leave a review on the product they purchased and their experience. The email shall be sent to the customer’s email address registered with Jessops (their “Registered Email Address”) and shall contain a link to a specific page for the customer to leave their review (the “Review Page”).

 

As a way of saying thank you, Jessops shall automatically enter each customer who leaves a review in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (an “Entrant”) into the Giveaway for a chance to win £100 to spend on the Jessops Website (the “Prize”).

 

By leaving a review, Entrants accept and agree that they will be automatically entered into the Giveaway and each Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

1.     Jessops shall publish genuine, relevant and lawful customer reviews on the Jessops Website. By leaving a review so as to be entered into the Giveaway, Entrants irrevocably and unconditionally agree to the Jessops Privacy Policy (https://www.jessops.com/c/help/privacypolicy) and grant Jessops a royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual, sub-licensable, worldwide licence to use some or all of their review and any name/nickname (unless the Entrant has ticked the box to remain anonymous), including for the purposes of Jessops’ marketing and/or advertising in any form or medium, in Jessops stores and in Jessops’ business and activities (commercial or otherwise) and on the Jessops Website or any other website, in Jessops emails and newsletters, on any social media account (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) or other online platform utilised by Jessops or any of Jessops’ authorised partners and licensees and/or to share such review with Jessops’ manufacturers and suppliers.

2.   Not with standing clause 1 above, Jessops reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, not to publish certain reviews on the Jessops Website, including, but not limited to, where such review is, or Jessops has a belief or suspicion that such review is, not genuine, left with malicious intent or intended to cause offense or harm to Jessops, its employees or any other person or company, contains inappropriate language and/or is unlawful.

3.    To be automatically entered into the Giveaway on any day in which the Giveaway is running and for a chance to win the Prize, an Entrant must have completed all of the following before the Giveaway Closing Time (as defined below):

(a)        purchased a Jessops product from the Website;

(b)        followed the link emailed by Jessops to the Entrant’s Registered Email Address asking them to leave a review;

(c)        left a review on the Review Page about the Jessops product purchased and filled out all ‘required fields’ appearing on the Review Page; and

(d)        submitted their review by clicking ‘Submit’ on the Review Page.

Entrants will only be entered into the Giveaway, and an Entrant’s entry into the Giveaway will only be valid, if the Entrant has complied in full with the provisions of this clause and these Terms and Conditions before the Giveaway Closing Time. Entrants who do not comply with this clause 3 will not be entered into the Giveaway.

4.      Entrants must be resident in the UK and over 18 at the time of entry.        

5.      Entrants must not be members or employees, or the immediate family members or employees, of:

(a)   any company or organisation owned, or part owned by any shareholder of Jessops, nor any subsidiaries of, associated companies, or agents for, any of these companies; and/or

(b)        any individual or other company connected with the Giveaway.               

6.      By leaving a review so as to be entered into the Giveaway, an Entrant confirms that he/she is:

(a)        resident in the UK at the time of entry and at the Giveaway Closing Time (as defined below); and

(b)        over 18 years of age at the time of entry; and

(c)        not a member or employee, or the immediate family of members or employees, of:

(i)  any company or organisation owned, or part owned by any shareholder of Jessops, nor any subsidiaries of, associated companies, or agents for, any of these companies; and/or

(ii)    any individual or company connected with the Giveaway.                  

7.     Jessops accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault or error, nor does Jessops accept any responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault or error on the part of the Entrant to comply with, or adhere to, these Terms and Conditions.

8.    The Prize for the Giveaway shall be £100 to spend at the Jessops Website. No alternative prizes are available (unless decided by Jessops in its absolute discretion). Jessops reserves the right to substitute the Prize for an alternative item of an equivalent value.

9.      The closing time for entry into the Giveaway will be midnight on 22/04/2022 (“Giveaway Closing Time”).

10.    The winning Entrant will be:

(a) selected at random on 29/04/2022 from all Entrants who have made a qualifying entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions; and

(b)  notified via email by 06/05/2022.                

11.  The winning Entrant will be required to provide proof of age, UK residence and any other matter which Jessops may in its discretion reasonably require when claiming the Prize. Details of how to claim the Prize will be provided to the winning Entrant at the same time as receiving notification of having won the Prize. The Prize must be used/redeemed within 3 months of the date it is issued to the winning Entrant.  In the event the Giveaway winner is disqualified from the Giveaway, the Prize will be withdrawn and the Entrant’s entry will be void and the Prize will be reallocated to another Entrant by way of a random draw of the remaining Entrants.

12.  Jessops’s decision is final and, unless determined otherwise by Jessops at its sole and absolute discretion, no correspondence or other communication will be entered into regarding the Giveaway referred to in these Terms and Conditions other than as specifically set out in these Terms and Conditions.     

13.   If an Entrant receives a winner notification in error, then no Prize will be due.

14.   The Giveaway winner may be required to take part in post-event publicity.

15.   No provisions of these Terms & Conditions shall affect any Entrants’ statutory rights.

16.  Events may occur that render the Giveaway or all or any part of the award/provision of the Prize itself impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Jessops and Entrants agree that no liability shall attach to Jessops as a result thereof.

17.   Jessops may also suspend or withdraw the Giveaway or amend these Terms & Conditions, without any liability, at any time.

18.  Jessops shall comply with all applicable data protection laws. By leaving a review so as to be entered into the Giveaway, the Entrant confirms that they consent to provide Jessops with any information reasonably required for the purposes of the review/Giveaway. The Entrant may withdraw such consent at any time by notifying Jessops and withdrawing from the Giveaway.

19.   These Terms & Conditions (and all matters contractual and non-contractual) are governed by English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
