Store Manager - Contracted Hours: Minimum 40 per week | Leeds
The Store Manager is accountable for delivering Jessops goals, inspirational customer service, operational compliance and colleague development. Delivering the needs of the business through their team and for their customer.
Accountable for:

- Performance management of all colleagues

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience in people management, leadership and direction – setting a clear direction for your team, inspiring others, and able to articulate our values with conviction
- Communication and influencing skills that generate commitment and loyalty
- Passionate about people – from customers to stakeholders
- The ability to prioritise workloads
- A commercially minded approach to retail
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and to promote the benefits of change to those around you
- Previous high level retail management experience is essential
- Constantly challenges own knowledge and drives own learning
- Desirable – knowledge of photography and the camera market
Deliverables:
- Revenue target across; hardware, accessories, photo, academy and JCP
- Attach rates for; accessories and JCP
- Efficient operation of a repair offering
- Efficient and compliant trade-in offering
- EBITDA in line with budgeted performance
- Colleague engagement
- H&S compliance
- Customer experience measured through mystery shops and CX programs
Job Type: Full-time

Team Leader - Contracted Hours: 24 per week | Jessops, York Discovery Store
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader / Supervisor ready for a challenge to join our Retail Team in York. You must:
- Have a strong retail background and lead from the front to be the essence of a customers’ experience.
- Have strong photographic and camera passion and knowledge
- Be commercial with high merchandising standards
- Be sales driven with an understanding of driving KPI's
- Be able to lead a team to meet company objectives and store standards
- To be able to motivate and support team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and build competence and confidence.
- Coordinate daily tasks, manage staff schedules/absences, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Act as the key link between staff and management, communicating goals and priorities clearly
- Address issues, handle conflict, and support the team in resolving challenges
- Have previous management or supervisor experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate others
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- A genuine desire to develop people and drive high-performance service
- Be able to work 40 hours a week –5 out of 7 days Rota
