- Good Points
- Really neat and compact - all the features are amazing. If it had in body IS then it would be nearly perfect. I wanted high end DSLR image quality without the HUGE body & lens. I looked at hundreds of reviews and it was either the NEX7 or Canon 5D Mkii with a white lens. I went for the Sony NEX 7 with 18-200 zoom and a Carl Zeiss 50. While not cheap I am very pleased with my NEX-7.
- Bad Points
- Dioptre adjustment not quite high enough on the AMAZING electronic viewfinder. I have not found any other negatives yet but it is very early days.

- Small size compared to any DSLR
Excellent build quality.
Programmable Tri Nav system and buttons
Big megapixel count. Not least because even when I can crop images I still have more image data than most other cameras.
Built in flash is an unusual plus on this class of camera.
Myriad of options and features.
Looks great! - Bad Points
- still getting to grips with the menus. Thank god for the custom buttons and wheels otherwise you would go spare, unless you are going to waste the camera on 'point and shoot'
In built flash is unusual in this class of camera but it is unusable with the TAMRON 18-200. Not such a surprise really but that was the first lens I bought :-(.
