This camera employs the Smart Portrait System – a feature dedicated to great shots of people. Functions include Smile Timer (fires when your subject smiles), Blink Proof (alerts you when someone has blinked), Skin Softening, and In-camera Red-eye Fix. Also has Face Priority AF which can detect up to 12 faces in a frame.

Movie Mode
The Nikon Coolpix L24 can record movies in VGA (640 x 480 pixels) quality with a smooth frame rate of 30frames per second.
