- The IS lens is a godsend! I went to Kenya on a field trip about a week after buying the camera and managed to take some very good photos even as it was getting dark.
The camera is also lightweight and relatively compact. - Bad Points
- The zoom is not that great if you want to take shots of something in the distance. I'd recommend buying a larger lens in addition (and its worth spending a bit extra for an IS lens).
