AF-S 35mm f1.8 G DX Lens

Some time since I purchased the excellent budget priced 50mm lens for studio portrait work, however I found at times I needed something a little wider and this lens is fantastic. Nice bright image in the view finder, pin sharp and great in low light.

It is also an excellent all rounder for the photographer on the move and you don’t want to be burdened with a heavy zoom.

On my D90 it is fast and responsive

This is a fast (f1.8) prime lens ideally suited to the APS-C size sensor of the Nikon consumer range of DSLRs. The 35mm focal length gives a near equivalent magnification to a 50mm 'standard' lens on a 35mm format camera.

I have used it on the D70 and D90 DSLR bodies and found the autofocus to be fast and effective, producing images that are sharp from edge to edge.

An excellent standard lens which is surprisingly reasonably priced for one coming from a mainstream camera manufacturer.
