Fuji’s first model offering high definition television (HDTV) stills and movie capture, this compact and lightweight 10 megapixel digital camera boasts an incredible 15x zoom lens. Packed with technology and features making it great for sports and landscape photography, while the macro and zoom-bracketing capability is superb.

Fujinon 15x Optical zoom lens
Despite its compact size the FinePix S2000HD boasts an amazing 15x Optical zoom covering an incredibly versatile 27.6-414mm (35mm format equivalent) range from true wide-angle to ultra telephoto. What’s more is that this fantastic 15x zoom can also be used during movie recordings!

Having such a long zoom range built-in, a considerable advantage is gained over digital SLRs as lens changing is not necessary and the associated risk of dust on the sensor. Live monitor viewing and movie modes are also possible as it does not have a moving mirror as found in digital SLR models.

Widescreen Option
The FinePix S2000HD allows you to capture high-resolution images and movies in 16:9 format, (1920 x 1080 pixels) - perfect for viewing on High Definition screens.

Real Photo Technology
This is a combination of cutting edge technologies such as Face Detection, Real Photo Processor and Fujinon lens, all optimised to work together to produce the most natural, beautiful results in any conditions.

Never a blurred moment
The FinePix S2000HD features Fujifilm's Dual Image Stabilisation mode, which combines a mechanically stabilised Super CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities, (up to ISO 6400 in 5MP mode), for total anti-blur protection.

Face Detection
Face Detection operates by identifying and prioritising up to 10 faces in a frame and then adjusting the focus and exposure accordingly to ensure the sharpness and clarity of human subjects in the picture, regardless of background.

Red Eye Removal
The system on the FinePix S2000HD will only correct redness in the pupil of the eye, not elsewhere in the picture, because the camera uses eye detection within face detection to find the pupil as opposed to jewelley or lips that may otherwise be "corrected" in error.

Intelligent Flash
Intelligent Flash captures both the subject and the background with natural brightness, setting the ideal balance of flash output and sensitivity.

Dual Shot mode combines Natural Light and Flash and allows you to capture the same scene twice, once at high sensitivity with natural light and once with Intelligent Flash, ensuring great photos, even in challenging shooting situations. You can then compare the images at your convenience and select if you wish to keep one or both.

Versatile Shooting Modes
Amongst many other attributes the FinePix S2000HD features a Super Macro Mode, Instant Zoom, and High Speed Continuous Shooting. Instant Zoom allows you to follow a moving subject in wide view, bringing you an additional 1.4x or 2x digital zoom impact at the single press of a button. Each frame can be saved to your memory card.

Zoom Bracketing
Enables three shots to be taken at the single press of the button, from wide to close up, at varying degrees of magnification (original, 1.4x and 2.0 x). This negates the need for having to go back to a PC to facilitate a digital crop.

Playback Functions
The FinePix S2000HD allows you to select and share images according to their original shooting mode: Still, Continuous, or Movie files. Any subjects captured in continuous shooting mode will play as a thumbnail within the LCD, allowing you to continue to look for additional captured images in screen.

You can also share your images with your friends and family by running a slide show in camera.
