Description
The Tamron 60mm f2 is the first medium telephoto APS-C format lens to feature a fast f2.0 aperture, especially good for creating attractive blurred background effects. This 1:1 macro lens also has internal focusing and Full Time Manual Focus Control to override AF when desired.
Special Low Dispersion (SLD) Glass
Has two large LD (low dispersion) glass elements in the first lens group so that aberrations are reduced to a tiny level.
BBAR Coating
Tamron have employed a Broad-Band Anti-Reflection multi-layer coating system that tackles head on the problem of attaining high light transmisssion in both short and long wavelength ranges. In addition to this, this macro lens has coatings for cemented surfaces.
Full Time Manual Focus
By adjusting the large focus control ring, AF and manual focus can easily be interchanged without needing to change any settings.
