A new lens construction gives this model superior optical properties. With a long 4.3x zoom ratio, this lens also offers a 37.4in. minimum focal distance at its 300mm focal length, and 1:2 macro mode. While it would normally have a minimum focusing distance of 59.1 inches, this lens effectively compensates for the astigmatic variations created by focusing. It also offers easy-to-use rotary zoom operation. Special low dispersion glass eliminates chromatic aberrations. Lightweight and compact, this lens offers excellent performance for the price.
