Sigma 19mm f/2.8 EX DN Lens - Sony E Mount

The compact and lightweight Sigma 19mm f/2.8 EX DN lens is a specially designed lens for compact system cameras. It has a 28.5mm equivalent focal length (equivalent to 35mm format).

The optical arrangement has been carefully devised and includes three aspherical glass mould elements for correction of distortion and curvature of field. The Inner Focus system gives improved focus accuracy and consistent control of aberrations throughout the zoom range. Focus is actuated by a linear AF motor which negates the need for gears, therefore making this quiet lens ideal for video recording. The telecentric optical design gives superb image quality throughout the frame area and Super Multi-Layer Coating ensures flare and ghosting are minimised, even in backlit conditions.

Additionally there is a rounded 7-blade diaphragm giving a softer texture to out-of-focus areas and a wide focusing ring for more comfort and control when focusing manually.
