- Great product, just the job for remote photo taking.
- I couldn't find a way of making it take remote videos, but was told that it did. Hence I gave it less points.

The Canon RC-6 is a wireless IR remote control designed to use with Canon EOS 450D, 500D, 550D, 600D, 60D, 7D, 6D, 5D Mark II and 5D Mark III.
The shutter release can be operated from up to 5m away with the option of immediate release or a 2 second delay. Due to it running off an IR signal you have to be in front of the camera in order to release the shutter.
The RC-6 can be used in “bulb” mode which is great if you like to capture long exposures. The Canon RC-6 is a great, compact camera accessory that you can take with you everywhere and is suitable for capturing self-portraits, fireworks, night scenes, seascapes and light painting. Make sure your camera is set to “remote control” otherwise the remote will not be able to release the shutter. A CR2032 battery is included.
