Tamron SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di VC USD Lens - Nikon AF

Extra Low Dispersion for Fine Image Resolution
This lens uses one LD (Low Dispersion) and one XLD (Extra Low Dispersion) element to counteract colour fringing that is caused by the refraction of light in traditional lens elements. The result is extremely low levels of chromatic aberration and contrast and sharpness that are class beating.

Multiple BBAR (Broad Band Anti Reflection) coatings have been employed to keep flare and ghosting to negligible levels and the inclusion of a flower shape hood makes sure that stray light is kept from entering the lens.

Ultrasonic Silent Drive Focus
First introduced in this lens, this technology uses ultrasonic wave interactions to propel the focus mechanism quickly and precisely to its desired point. The end result is ultra-fast focus even at long focal lengths, making this lens ideal for sports and wildlife photography. If you prefer manual focus this is attainable at any time without a switch, just by rotating the focus ring manually – courtesy of the Full Time Manual Focus feature. Filters are easily managed too thanks to fully internal focusing.

Vibration Compensation
The image stabilisation for this lens works from three coils and offers up to four extra stops of smaller apertures to be used, allowing for much greater scope when shooting fast moving or dimly lit subjects.

Also features 1:4 Macro magnification and full frame or APS-C compatibility.

Award Winning Lens
The Tamron 70-300mm VC Lens wins "The Best Zoom Lens" award by EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association).
"The Tamron SP70-300mm F4-5.6 Di VC USD is a very compact, comfortable and easy-to-use zoom lens. Its greatest asset is the razor-sharp image quality that makes full-frame photos look like medium-format images.
The near-silent autofocus system makes the lens ideal for wildlife as well as street photography, while the superb image stabilisation makes it possible to take sharp and detailed pictures more easily in low-light conditions."
