Sony’s flagship Cyber-shot model has everything the keen photographer needs including a huge 30x Zeiss zoom lens (27-810mm equivalent), Full HD movie recording and 3D shooting. Many image improvement features are in this camera too such as optical image stabilisation, Backlight Correction and several portrait functions. To top it all off, the HX-100V sports a GPS receiver so that you can even tag where your photo was taken, anywhere in the world.

16.2 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor
For amazingly detailed images even under considerable enlargement, the DSC-HX100V includes a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor. The Exmor R^TM CMOS sensor is especially efficient due to its back illuminated design meaning the light path to the sensor area is not obscured by any wiring arrays. The result…far better sensitivity to lower light levels and reduced overall image noise.

30x Optical Zoom
When it comes to out-and-out image quality, Carl Zeiss are in the absolute top bracket. This camera includes a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* Lens for sharpness right across the zoom range. To avoid camera shake, Optical Steady Shot is included with Active Mode for increased correction say when you are walking.

Full HD Movies
The Cybershot HX100V records Full HD movies in 1920 x 1080 quality with a super smooth 50 frames per second. One Touch Record is possible and zoom can be operated during recording. Progressive Mode gives cinematic style movies plus there is the ability to capture stills from movie frames. An HD Output for stills or video onto HD TV is provided for use with an optional cable, and can offer Photo TV HD for enhanced viewing on compatible BRAVIA TVs. Also has the HD slideshow feature with background music.

Satellite Tracking
The Cyber-shot HX100V is equipped with a GPS receiver and compass feature. Tag where your image was taken and plot your travels on your computer with online mapping.
