Who needs interchangeable lenses when you’ve got the Nikon Coolpix P500? Its 36x Zoom Lens (22.5-810mm equivalent) covers it all, right from super wideangle to super telephoto. The Coolpix P-500 also features a highly light efficient image sensor, 7x Anti Blur, Full HD movies with stereo sound, plus a large, sharp tiltable LCD display.

12.1 Megapixel Back Illuminated CMOS Sensor
This highly efficient image sensor gathers more light than conventional designs thanks to keeping wiring arrays out of the light path. The result is far better photos in lower light with less grainy results. Faster shutter speeds can also be used for any given light level.

7x Anti Blur
It’s important with such a long zoom lens to make sure your images don’t suffer from camera shake. Thankfully Nikon have included a full 7-pointed attack on blurry images, powered by the camera’s EXPEED C2 image processor. The methods are listed below:

3-inch Tiltable High Resolution LCD Monitor
Has superbly sharp 921k dot resolution. You can also tilt it up by 90° or down by 82° for easier viewing from tricky angles. A built-in anti-reflection coating allows for more comfortable viewing in sunny or snowy conditions.

HD Movies
Record in Full HD with stereo sound on the Coolpix P500. Thanks to its powerful EXPEED C2 processor, optical zoom and AF can be operated during recording and stills can be taken during filming. Can record for slow-motion movies too at an incredible 240 frames per second (QVGA resolution). Has HDMI output with HDMI-CEC support for easy viewing on your HD TV.
