An ultra-wideangle zoom lens for all EF-S mount EOS cameras. It's exceptionally small and lightweight and has an effective focal length range of approximately 16-35mm in 35mm format. It also has an incredibly close minimum focusing distance of just 24cm.

- Very Good image quality. Fast and quiet autofocus.
- Bad Points
- Focus ring has a lot of side to side movement, I would imagine in a dusty enviroment it would leave
dust into the lens and anything else for that matter..
Also there`s no lens hood or pouch and I think for the money you pay for such a piece of kit should come as
standard.

- Image quality is outstanding, produces highly dynamic pieces which you would expect from an ultra wide angle lens. I have used this lens for a variety of photography projects, ranging from unique potraits, photojournalism and landscapes. Beautful piece of equipment very easy to use.
- Bad Points
- Some issues with flare- which is to be expected from a wide angle lens, however this is reduced with a petal hood, and ofcourse patience when composing images.

Obviously like all lenses you get what you pay for and whilst this lens is not as cheap as other manufacturers offerings spending the extra money is worthwhile. I compared this lens directly against a Tamron 10-24 which was cheaper but the Canon image quality is a world away. Images are sharper throughout the range and colour quality is excellent meaning that extra was a worthwhile investment.
